Installation commissioned for the exhibition “Lo que permanece oculto” (What Remains Hidden) in OTR Espacio de Arte. Joining the curator’s proposition, I chose to leave the mattresses with the stains and marks as I found them, memory of the bodies that have once inhabited these objects. In an orgiastic bundle, the union of the physical bodies of mattresses explode from a corner of the room, reference to the origin of all things and thoughts and wishes. The great, universal, psychoanalytical conclusion that… everything culminates in sex.
